Both men and women are represented unrealistic in the advert. men are represented by sex, fantasy and hormones, women are represented as dominant because they are controlling the men but they are acting skimpy and have no self respect. the add is sending out a negative message to all females and making men think that they will get a ''certain'' way with women but the advert is unrealistic and therefor if they use lynx they wont attract all women. Both the print and TV ad represent women in a bad way it's degrading to women and lying to men as well with the representation or women because men are obviously the target audience but the advertisers are using a really bad example.
lynx has put a bad reputation for the industry itself by using an advert such as this one

    ebi look to improve your use of media language throughout and consider why the representation has been constructed this way, why is it successful? what effects could it have on different groups?
